BIOGRAPHY
Herve Kashongwe is originally from the Democratic Republic of the Congo in Central Africa, where he earned a B.S in Agricultural Engineering, where he first was in touch with Geospatial science. He also received an M.S degree in Geographic Information Science from South Dakota State University. He is passionate about geospatial technologies in solving environmental issues.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
His current research focuses on using Remote Sensing products (active and passive) and machine learning algorithms to provide a better understanding of the Congo Basin Forest structure and biomass.
